Permitted use
- Install and run the software on authorized devices and keep reasonable backup copies.
- Organizations should protect installers, keys, and device registration through authorized administrators.
Restrictions
- Do not bypass registration, advertising, or edition limits or facilitate unauthorized use.
- Except where law permits, do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, rent, resell, or redistribute components.
- Do not use the software to violate copyright, privacy, security, or other legal rights.
Updates and compatibility
- Features, security behavior, and compatibility may change between editions, platforms, and releases.
- Unsupported systems and old versions may retain known issues and are not guaranteed compatibility.
Third-party components
- Third-party and open-source components remain governed by their own licenses.
- Formats and codecs may be affected by third-party technical, patent, or trademark terms.
Termination
- A material license violation may terminate authorization; unlicensed copies must then be removed.
